![]() Up till I was about 13 businesses really enjoyed making Halloween FUN for kids! They would hold "Spook-A-Rama" shows in theaters and have stuff like this :) Damn....those were fun!!! |
|
![]() These images were things that took me since October 2004 thru March 2005 to find. I wanted to find, the exact stuff, my Mom decorated the house with for Halloween, or as close as I could. |

![]() Cute ain't they :) |

![]() Perfect for little kids :) |

![]() We used bags like this a lot! And Bless Mom's heart, she'd organize HUGE pre & post Trick or Treat parties at our home. She would spook up the whole back yard and garage, she'd have a little bonfire, and set up tables, and we'd have a little to-doo before we went out and a BIG wind up party after! She'd work like crazy all week to have it all just perfect, spooky music, the works. And I was part of the baby-boom generation at the time, so she had LOADS of kids to provide all the food/drink/party bags for :) You don't do that for your son unless you really love him! And Mom, I'll always treasure those memories :) |

![]() ALSO, what was great was the hosted horror shows that came on for Friday and Saturday nights. They really went all out with sets and make-up and mood music - to show you the old horror movies. These movies relied on acting and music and moody photography for gothy little chills and STILL BEAT most if not all, modern movies for effect :) | |
![]() The image below is a DVD that you CAN/MUST order from Something Weird Video! |
|
![]() Or you can get it from Amazon.Com, Barnes & Nobles books, etc.... It's almost 9 hours of reels and adverts for spook-a-rama shows AND a few popular spook movies tossed in. NO ONE else has put together such a FINE collection...trust me and just buy it :) |
