The Diary of JACK THE RIPPER Is the most engrossing book, and even more so, the DVD that covers the investigation and recreates the scenes in the book - and both can be gotten at Amazon.com. Now-the 'downside' After the furious fight to prove the diary was real, and all these specialists in dating the ink and paper, and all the heated argument with the experts NOW thinking it looked to be genuine--- The books owner admits it was a fake, then denys it saying he was threatened into admitting fraud, then saying it was faked again....who can say? IT IS NOT unheard of for folks like those who conduct Ripper tours and have built HUGE works on their own theories (published) to bring powers to bear to obscure what could be the truth. Ripperology IS big $$ buisness. But the damage is now done: If James Maybrick was, in fact, The Ripper - he's been lost deep to the shadows of doubt now. |

![]() But Why Do We Seek Jack? Let's face it, he was an utter sick bastard, and serial killer extreme. I thinks it's the fogs of time as well as the fogs of Whitechapel that have somewhat romanticized him and kindled our interest. |

![]() That's why I laugh at the fuss made over that Oliver Stone film- Natural Born Killers |
|
It got people all twisted up in their undies because it showed the killers as getting glam'd up in the press and public. And the same protesters would sit down and get all enthralled at this DVD above, so where's the diff? |

So, that having been said and without further ado, we bid thee good-night James/Jack/??? | |
