When you were a kid
did your parents ever take you
to the circus?
Only a small percentage
of Bishops anymore seem to take
active interest in the religious
climate of the Churches under them.
Which diminishes them to the level
of the way the circus used
clowns (in my opinion) who
run out and around the ring to
distract you while the next show
was being set up.
The seem to SNAP into action
at any complaints that their priests are
being too devout, but complain that
your priest is being TOO liberal
and you get carpet bagged.
