The Rosary and Devotionals:
seperating fact from fiction,
breaking the chains.

So you want a devotional?
But how to select one that has
relevance in this modern world
and won't get you teased by other
churches and the Jack Chickletts?
With the exception of
Christmas and such-
What marked my FINAL Mass attend
was our priest condeming the
Rosary from the pulpit as being a
superstition and saying that the
Vatican II Council declared it.
So either he intentionally
lied, or, he is a moron.
But seeing what things keep
sliding downhill towards
I'll call it LYING: to appease either
his own agenda or the agenda
of others.
In the "Fight Song"
Marilyn Manson nailed
it with the lyric: "And
when we were good, ya' just
closed yer eyes!"
There is no room for my kind
of Catholic in my area
anymore, unless I'm willing to
never speak our or question.

So Churches no longer like statues
of saints or talking about them either.
It has to be Readers Digest
spirituality....because the
Saints were too severe for today.

And since we get most devotionals
from experiences a Saint had with the
Divine, those issues are in no way welcome.
