A phenomenon reserved to the Catholic Church and involving a VAST number of saints going back almost 2000 years. Please refer to THE INCORRUPTIBLES by Joan Carroll Cruz, TAN books and publishers, for the best documentation. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ~POPE LEO XIII ~ At LaSalette, France, The Blessed Virgin warned that: "In the year 1864, Lucifer together with a large number of demons will be unloosed from Hell; they will put an end to faith little by little, even in those dedicated to God". At the end of the 1800's, Pope Leo XIII was saying Mass, and fell over as though dead. Presumed dead by his color and failure to detect a pulse. Before he could be properly taken away-he woke up. Horrified, he related that he had been caught up in a vision; allowed to witness an exchange between God and Lucifer, in which Lucifer boasted that he could destroy the Church. God asked, was this so? He was permitted to try. Satan countered that he needed more time. When God asked how much time, Satan said: "75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who would give themselves to my service". God granted him the time and the power, but made no vow that he would not oppose him. Sound a little bit like JOB in the Old Testament? The seedlings spread by that one in that span of time may only yet be budding. God alone knows when, if, he will allow them to bloom. |

![]() ![]() ![]() HERESY & APOSTACY ~ A Fundamentalist friend of mine once said, that, once the Catholic Churhc goes to pot it spells the end for all Christ based religions - since the Catholics have always held strongly in their beliefs. Sadly, today the Church is rapidly splintering, with many countries wanting to break from Rome and form their own little "vaticans." Even in the U.S., if you look up Catholic Church in many yellow pages you'll find, under Catholic: (1) Roman, (2) American, (3) Liberal, and even (4) New Age. Entering a Catholic Mass today, you would not know it for at least 90% of your visit. Our Church is rapidly being stripped of any statues of saints (the Blessed Mother in particular) and you'll have to look hard to find a actual crucifix. Morality, doctrine, dogma, sin, purgatory, saints, Mary, even the Eucharist -the center- is not spoken of anymore except, in quick passing. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is now called a "celebration", without being specific as to what that means. And the U.S. Bishops are generally in defiance of the Pope. But, even the Pope(s) these days, "are reported" of doing things which, 100 years ago, would have seen them denounced. And so, I wonder about the validity of the things I've mentioned earlier. A poem published in a paper known as "The Wanderer" a few years back, sadly, reflects what I have heard mentioned in my own Church, and, what I know (from 1st hand) is being shoved down the throats of those who are entering the Lay Ministry-on up to formal seminary: (A Priest and a Nun are wringing their hands over what to do about a 3rd grade student who is devout and giving them grief, by countering what they tell the students, and standing up for what the Church actually teaches) PRIEST: "I just don't know, what do we do? NUN: "Let's pray to the Person we always do." OUR PERSON, WHO ART SOMEWHERE, UNMENTIONED BE THY MASCULINE NAME. THY NEW WORLD COME, THY SUGGESTIONS BE CONSIDERED, ACCORDING TO HOW WE FEEL. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR FEEL-GOOD MOOD, AND FORGIVE US FOR NOT ALWAYS FOLLOWING YOUR ADVICE. AN LEAD US NOT INTO THE HANDS OF THE DEVOUT, BUT DELIVER US TO THE ROCHESTER DIOCESE ....A-PERSON. |
