The Holy Gotholic/Catholic Church of Iowegia
Is a parody, nothing less, and maybe more.

In other words, don't get your undies in a bunch
and flood my e-mail and guestbook with tripe.

If you have spent any time on my site, you know my
my brand of humor and satire and irony.

Actually, the only ones who should take this parody with
any degree of 'constipation' is gonna
be other Catholics, like me. And the only ones
who are gonna get all bunged up, are the ones who recognize
themselves here - and I make no apology to them.


I make NO apology
because being Catholic used to mean something,
but the majority of the people wanted
faith spoon fed to them, and refused to take time out
to learn the teachings of the church and invest
any time in learning why we have the doctrines and dogmas we do.
So, when stuff started sliding away and getting into the realms
of Apostacy and Heresy (the correct terms for it)
they ducked their ingorant little heads and followed like
nice quiet little sheep - to the slaughter.


As a result:
The Catholic Church in much of Iowa, and the entire USA
for that matter, can no longer truly be called Catholic or
Roman Catholic. Even the Priesthood in most of the Church, is filled with
men who have cast off the mantles of the Apostles they are supposed to be
emulating, and as far as "IN PERSONA CHRISTI"
don't even bring it up to them - you won't like the response.

but I'll let the parody pages speak for themnselves.
While in some areas (you'll know, you have brains)
I am going WAY over-the-top on purpose
there is a truth behind it, in other items, I am not joking at all.
